Hayley Chewins is a creative powerhouse working across a range of disciplines.

Her strikingly original novels have all received starred reviews, with the latest, I AM THE SWARM, garnering six in total. She is also the author of LOKI: SEASON ONE NOVEL, a middle grade novelization of the hit TV series.

Her writing has been recognized by Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Weekly, Ms. Magazine, Rise: A Feminist Book Project, YALSA, and the Chicago Public Library, and has earned accolades including the Foreword Indies Gold for Juvenile Fiction and Amazon Best Book of the Month.

Hayley is also the lead singer of EIGHT THOUSAND BIRDS, a dreamy and dark alt-pop duo she created with Le Diplomat.

Constantly exploring new artistic territory, Hayley also paints, collages, and writes poems. When she's not making things, she helps others to return to magic in their own creative lives.
